Custom CNC Macros for Controlled Engravings

With our Custom CNC Engraving Macro programs, we can create CNC macro-controlled engraving programs tailored to your needs. These Custom CNC Macro programs were designed to help manufacturers find an easier and better way to produce engravings in their CNC machining centers. Our Custom CNC Macros fill in the gap left by a CAM system's inability to create dynamic engravings and the difficulty of making nice-looking engravings without a CAM system.

Why Use these Custom CNC Macro programs?

Our custom CNC engraving macro programs are specifically designed to be loaded directly into your CNC controller. Typically, you only need to load five programs, usually named within the O8000 range, to prevent accidental changes by less experienced operators. Once installed, new CNC engraving programs can be quickly created directly on the controller—usually in 10 minutes or less.

These macros allow for easy, on-the-fly modifications to your engravings without involving your CAM programmer. They provide the flexibility to precisely engrave along contours, edges, and between various part features. Additionally, our custom CNC macros offer complete control over the engraving text and positioning, all from the machine controller itself.

What TYPE OF CNC ENGRAVING MACRO PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE?

Base Package

The first package is our Base engraving package. With this package, you will be able to add CNC engravings on any linear surface. Also included with the base package is the ability to choose the font style you want for the numerical numbers 1, 6, and 9.

Sequential Serial Numbers

Our Sequential Serial Number Package offers comprehensive capabilities for generating both sequential numbers and letters.

Key Features:

Customizable Engraving: Modify the appearance of your engravings with ease. Add leading zeros to ensure consistent digit lengths (e.g., 0004 for four digits).
Flexible Increments: Increment numbers and letters by more than one digit, providing greater flexibility.
Special Characters: Precede serial numbers with special characters such as dashes, pound signs, or any of the numerous special characters integrated into our program.
Maximum Value Setting: Define a maximum value for your serial numbers and specify the point at which the engraving should restart.

Julian Date

Automated Date Adjustment for Engraving

Our software automatically updates the Julian or machining date for your CNC engraving process. Additionally, you can schedule these updates to occur at a specific time of day, ensuring precision and convenience.
